Warm Up Your Winter Party

Warm Up Your Winter Party
While we’re sure you plan to keep the thermostat at a reasonable temperature during your winter soiree, there are other, more creative ways to keep your party guests warm this winter. We’ve compiled a few of our favorites for you to try at your event.

1. Warm Drinks / Cocktails
With as many Pinterest cocktails as there are available online, it’s difficult to narrow the list down, so we’ve linked a couple of our favorites, here – and if these aren’t enough, a simple “Winter Cocktail” search on Pinterest should do the trick.
Hotty Toddy
This one may be obligatory, but you can never go wrong with a classic, spiked herbal tea. It’s simple, yet a safe bet that plenty of guests will gravitate toward.
Slow Cooker-Mulled Wine with Cranberries and Rosemary
This cocktail isn’t necessarily warm in temperature, but the scents and flavors of the holidays are mulled together into your cup, sure to make you feel plenty warm on the inside.

2. Warm Dishes
Many dishes are served warm, but these offer more than just their temperature.
Turkey, Cranberry and Brei Eggrolls
These apps have Thanksgiving written all over them. Regardless of the date of your party, these are the perfect mix of sweet and savory and make a great warm-up bite to set the tone for the rest of the party.
Tomato Bisque Soup
Nothing warms you up quite like a hot bowl of soup. Throw in some mini grilled cheese bites and your guests will be good to go. Simple, yet tasty and effective.
3. Fireplace / Warm Lighting
If your event space houses an actual fireplace or fire pit, then light it up to allow your guests to gather round, literally bringing them closer together.
Unable to start an actual fire? Incorporate plenty of candles or use warm lighting to evoke the idea of the warmth and lighting that a fire would give.
4. Photo Booth
Use fun, winter and holiday themed props to get your guests moving around in silly poses and scooting in close for photos.
